Hi, it's nice to see the warm weather is still around, although I keep getting told that it's all gonna change soon!
I'd like to share a quick card I've made for someone who will be giving birth to a baby girl very soon (she's currently in hospital at the moment being induced, so shouldn't be long now!).
The base is made from Kraft cardstock, and the dps are from DCWV Nanna's Nursery collection. The lace is from my stash.
At the beginning of the year I joined Vicky's (from Crafting Clare) Stampers 6 club for a six month period - she is so lovely and makes the most amazing creations with her SU supplies. I now have a nice little collection on the go, and although I haven't had time to use much of it yet, I couldn't resist trying these little baby feet which were on my final order (I will be back!). The sentiment is also from the same set and they are both stamped in Archival Ink (Coffee for the sentiment and Rose Madder for the feet).
I also decorated the inside (will upload a pic tomorrow) and made a sleeve to present this in, which is tied in a bow at the back, through a punched hole.
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:-
Crafts and Me - Anything Goes
Shopping Our Stash - Something New
Crafty Boots - Babies
Bye for now.

Buttons & Bows - Craft-Room Challenge DT
Hi, I hope you are all enjoying the warm weather if you're here in the UK! I love the heat but it's a little muggy at the moment - we could do with a good thunderstorm I think. We had wonderful entries to the Sport Challenge over at the Craft-Room (check back next Tuesday to see if you are our random winner or in the Top 3), but it's now time for a new challenge and this time it was Debi's turn to choose the theme - please check out her blog to see her beautiful creations and style. She would like to see us using:
I decided to recycle the back of a picture frame and make a little hanging:
I used some torn dps from MME Lost & Found "Blush" paper pad along with some Kraft cardstock, added a cord bow onto the dress form of the dp, in the bottom left corner, and stamped a chandelier which you can just see behind the sentiment. I attached some beautiful SU vintage style lace down the right side and I then threaded some buttons together with pink cord and attached on top of the lace. I repeated a little lace with a button across the two other corners. The Kanban dress was stamped directly onto the base, and then again onto some of the leftover dp and cut out (cutting out is something I very rarely do, lol, as I find it hard to be neat!). I popped some pads into the middle of the skirt to give it some dimension, and added some cord around the waist. I stamped the sentiment onto Kraft then mounted onto some corrugated card, recycled from a parcel, to which I'd added some Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel. I also added a little of the embossing enamel around the three bare edges. Some brown ribbon tied into a bow and attached with a glue gun, and an odd earring attached to the bow. I did a little crackle stamping onto the Kraft (around the dress), and masked off and stamped different parts of a TH stamp here and there. Some cream twill tape was threaded through two holes in the top to hang it from.
I would like to enter my hanging into the following challenges:-
Crafts & Me - Ribbon & A Bow
Creative Inspirations Paint - Favourite Colours (mine are Cream, Pink & Brown together)
Buttons & Bows

Sport - Craft-Room Challenge DT Card
Hi, at last (after moving house) I'm back with a DT post (thank you Zoe & the team for being so understanding :-)). I've really missed blogland and my crafting and it's taken me ages to get my little room sorted - I still can't find half my stuff, lol, but it's useable and I'll get there eventually.
Anyway, it's time for a new challenge over at Craft-Room and the very talented Mervi has chosen the theme of:
This theme was very daunting for me, as I have no real sport themed stamps so, after a good rummage, I found this cute little fellow doing a spot of fishing (apparently one of the most participated sports, would you believe!):
The image was stamped in Coffee Archival Ink and coloured with Coloursoft pencils in shades of brown, and blended with Sansador. Some chalk was added to the top of the image. The dps are from Making Memories and the card base is Kraft cardstock. Some twill tape, glossy accents, a few pearls and a TH ticket to finish.

who manufacture fabulous red rubber stamps
As usual, there will be a random draw, with a prize from Tanda Stamps, and Mervi will choose her top 3 favourites - the usual rules apply (please see the challenge blog).
I'm looking forward to visiting your blogs to see your sporty creations.
Have fun, and enjoy the rest of your week.
