A Little Something with some of my leftovers

This is something I made with some leftover chipboard.  It's not how it's meant to be but I thnk I quite like it.

THE BIG DAY IS HERE - Anything Goes!!!

At last, the big moment has arrived and the first of many Craft-Room Challenges has been launched!  The challenges will be fortnightly, every other Tuesday.  Pop over and have a go (just click on the Craft-Room Chellenge icon above)  - it's going to be brilliant.  Anything Goes means just that - enter with a piece of your choice, and  I’m sure there will be some pretty amazing pieces..  You've got to be in it to win it!!!  I wish the very best of luck to everyone who takes part.

Have Some Me Time

Hiya, I'm still up on the ceiling after becoming a member of the Craft-Room Challenge DT - I think it's' going to be some time before I come back down.   This is a card I made today using weathered wood and pumice stone distress inks which have been sprayed with water to create a mottled effect on the background..  The eyes were stamped in weathered wood also and I have used white embossing powder on the stamped images.  I'm quite pleased how it turned out so I hope you like it.

Craft Room DT Challenge

These are the three pieces I am submitting for the Craft Room's challenge, for a place on the Design Team.

I would love to be a part of the Design Team for Craft-Room as I think it would be great to be part of a new site that's continually growing.  I try to be as versatile as possible, trying out many designs, techniques and mediums wherever possible.  I love making cards, wall hangings and other bits n pieces, I think it would be a great challenge which I would definitely rise to, and it would also give me the opportunity to meet lots of other people with the same interest (I don't know many at the moment!). Also, my mum would be soooo proud of me.  Thank you Julia and Zoe for taking the time to view my entry.

House of Memories

This is something I made for my mum for her birthday - it's in memory of her brother who passed away recently.  I started off with a bare house and painted it in acrylic paint.  I did a bit of sanding, added some crackle accents in places and decorated it with bits n pieces and added some cord for hanging.  She loved it.
